Chilli Bites – Bhajias

It is a little spicy, and sometimes can have a bit more of a bite to it than expected, but it is definitely a favourite snack at any time. Best served at Parties or just when you are having guests over. Goes well with a hot cup of Tea.

Ingredients

1 cup pea or gram flour
1 tablespoon cake flour
1 medium sized onion (chopped finely)
1 medium potatoe (grated coarsely)
1 teaspoon crushed jeera
1 teaspoon crushed dhania seeds
3 green chillies finely chopped
1 teaspoon fine salt
1 bunch finely chopped dhania leaves
2 tablespoon chopped shallot

Method

Sift dry ingredients into large bowel and add the rest of the ingredients with enough water so that consistency is thick like a pancake batter.
Take a spoonful of batter at a time and place in deep hot oil to fry.
Allow to brown and remove and drain.
